What is Health Information Technology Standards Panel (HITSP)?
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) worked with HIMSS and created the Health Information Technology Standards Panel (HITSP) to ensure public and private cooperation in improving health care through technology. It also serves as an intermediary for any conflict between existing standards and laws. It is also a goal that helps in achieving interoperability standards.
